Candle Gazing: Easy Way to Improve Your Intuition

Hi beautiful souls! You know me, I'm sad and tired and all. Fighting with depression feels just like this. I'm an explorer of interesting things and specially those which benefit me.

Today I want to let you know, I'm a spiritual person and that has nothing to do with religion. I do lot of things to divert my mind from negativity. So today I'm going to tell you a way to purify your soul and free it from negative energies. Doing this will also improve your intuition and spiritual power.

Candle gazing, yes you heard it right, is the way to improve your concentration and that means it will also make you able to control your thoughts and thus, ward off traumatic and negative thoughts. It is an ancient art done by various gurus who practiced meditation. Here are the steps to do it correctly:

1. Take a white, thin candle and light it on a plate, tray or anything that makes it stay in tact.

2. Put it on a table where you can sit on the chair which makes the candle match your eye level and at least 2 feet away from you. Or a simple way is to sit crossed-legged on floor and make a pile of cushions/pillows above one another and put on lighted candle above it so that it matches your eye level.

3. Dim the lights, or the better, turn them off. Now focus on the flame of candle. Gaze into it without blinking your eyes. Don't get distracted by other thoughts and only stare at the flame. If your eyes feel strained or teary allow the tears to flow and then close your eyes.

4. Now try to visualize the candle in the blackness of your closed eyes. You'll see the flame and if you've not, don't fret and repeat the process again.

5. Do this daily morning and evening in quiet, peaceful room for at least 20 minutes. With time and practice you'll be able to concentrate on it for longer duration without blinking.

Here are the benefits of doing this regularly:
● Improves concentration and helps control one's thoughts.
● Instills a sense of spirituality and calmness around the practitioner's soul.
● Improves intuition, which is one's inner voice which guides a person of what's wrong and right.
● A great exercise for eyes.

Have you heard of this practice before? What are your thoughts about it? Let me know in the comments!
